
For our client, world leader within sonar technology – Teledyne RESON A/S, we are looking for a FPGA RTL Firmware Engineer.

Job Summary:
As Teledyne RESON’s new Firmware Engineer, you will be working in project teams with hardware, software and other firmware engineers responsible for developing and maintain existing and future Teledyne RESON products. This includes designing, implementing and testing embedded firmware in high data throughput, real-time multibeam sonar systems where performance is continuously pushed up.
This is a superb role for a Firmware Engineer who wants to contribute to both with FPGA and hardware developments for interesting products. You will be able to get new challenges in a very flexible work environment with an informal working culture.
Key responsibilities:
- FPGA firmware development for cutting-edge subsea sonar and acoustic technology
- Design specification for components- or systems
- HDL coding, synthesis of HDL-code on given technology
- Test and verification plans
- Test benches and test cases for the planned test scenarios
- Test pattern (functionality pattern, ATPG) Insertion of test structures (Scan, BIST)
- Functional verification
- Documentation
Job Requirements:
- Highly skilled and experienced with FPGA development
- Preferably experienced with Xilinx Vivado and ISE complete software package.
- Knowledge of VHDL; Verilog would be an added advantage
- You are structured, systematic and quality-minded
- Must be self-driven with a successful track record in FPGA development
- Team player with strong problem solving ability and a can-do mentality
- Proactive, positive and supporting personality
Educational level:
B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or similar
Language skills:
Fluent in Danish and English to a professional level
Nice to have:
- Experience with beamforming, Ultrasound, Radar, Doppler processing etc.
- Experience with digital hardware development
Other relevant Information:
- Job position is in Slangerup, Denmark
- The job is expected to require a few days of travel each year
