Job summary
As Teledyne RESON’s new Production Engineer, you will be part of the Technology and Products department. The group cooperates in defining, developing, testing, prepare production setup and handover of new products to Operations for numerous product lines.
Our products consist of real-time Single- and Multi-beam Sonar Systems, Inertial Navigation System and related products. Key parts are advanced sensors (Acoustical, Fiber Optic Gyro), low noise analog electronics, high power transmit stages and high performance signal processing platforms. The product lines span from small low power products for autonomous vehicle drones (ASV/AUV) to high-end deepwater sonar systems for large research vessels.
You will be working in the mechanical team with focus on transducer manufacturing processes, automation, and production support for new and existing products. You will be part of development projects with design for manufacturability reviews, production tooling, procurement and set to work on production machines, prototyping build and documentation.
Key responsibilities:
Job profile #1:
- Production engineer with hands-on to learn, understand and be able to optimize production processes.
- Introduce new production technology e.g., programming of robots and other automation machines.
- Support and maintenance of production equipment.
- New Product Introduction with setup, assembly- and test procedures.
- Design for Manufacturing review
- Prototype production support
Job profile #2:
- Production engineer with hands-on to learn, understand and be able to optimize production processes.
- Production documentation with assembly- and test procedures
- Experience with Lean manufacturing would be helpful, but not mandatory for the position.
- Support to the daily operational tasks incl. troubleshooting and NCR/MRB-handling
- Engineering Change Order processes for running production.
- Corrective And Preventive Action (CAPA)
Job requirements:
- Production engineer or engineer with mechanical- or electrical engineering background.
- Experience with New Product Introduction from manufacturing company.
- Experience with robot programming and introduction to production is preferred for Job profile #1
- Experience with CAD software is preferred.
- You are structured, systematic and quality-minded
- Drive and ability to complete task to agreed deadline
- Enjoy working both independently and in teams
- Proactive, positive and supporting personality
- Fluent in Danish and English to a professional level
Educational level:
Production engineer, or engineer with mechanical- or electrical engineering background.
Language:
Fluent in Danish and English to a professional level.
Other relevant Information:
- Job position is in Slangerup, Denmark
- The job is expected to require a few days of travel each year
